तोरपा महिला कृषि बागवानी स्वावलंबी सहकारी समिति लिमिटेड को लैंपस का लाइसेंस भी मिल गया है. अब इस एफपीओ को न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (एमएसपी) पर धान की अधिप्राप्ति यानी धान की खरीद करने का भी अधिकार मिल गया है. इतना ही नहीं, तोरपा का यह एफपीओ अब एनएससी (NSC) का अधिकृत डीलर भी बन गया है. वर्ष 2022 की गर्मी के सीजन में एफपीओ ने 160 मीट्रिक टन तरबूज बेचने में किसानों की मदद की. किसानों के उत्पादों की मार्केटिंग के साथ-साथ एफपीओ उन्हें जैविक खेती के लिए भी प्रेरित कर रहा है. काफी संख्या में किसान जैविक खेती को अपना रहे हैं. उन्हें इसका फायदा भी मिल रहा है. बता दें कि 26 जनवरी 2022 को तोरपा महिला कृषि बागवानी स्वावलंबी सहकारी समिति लिमिटेड को खूंटी का सर्वश्रेष्ठ एफपीओ घोषित किया गया. खूंटी के उपायुक्त ने एफपीओ को सर्वश्रेष्ठ एफपीओ का सर्टिफिकेट भी दिया. तोरपा महिला कृषि बागवानी स्वावलंबी सहकारी समिति लिमिटेड की स्थापना हुई. दो साल के भीतर इससे 2,250 किसान जुड़ गये. इनमें से 1,600 किसान अनुसूचित जनजाति (Schedule Tribe) से हैं. वर्ष 2020-21 में एफपीओ से 40 गांव जुड़े थे. अब 44 गांव के लोग इससे जुड़ चुके हैं. एफपीओ एक किसान मार्ट का भी संचालन करता है, जहां से किसानों को खाद-बीज उपलब्ध कराये जाते हैं. वर्ष 2020-21 में इसका टर्नओवर 21 लाख रुपये था, जो एक साल बाद यानी वर्ष 2021-22 में 1.25 करोड़ रुपये हो गया. मुनाफा 300 फीसदी बढ़ गया है. पिछले वर्ष एफपीओ ने 3.20 लाख रुपये का मुनाफा कमाया था, जो इस वर्ष बढ़कर 9.80 लाख रुपये हो गया है. एफपीओ के संचालन के लिए 11 सदस्यीय बोर्ड का गठन किया गया है. अध्यक्ष, सचिव से लेकर बोर्ड के तमाम सदस्य महिलाएं हैं. दियांकेल पंचायत की एतवारी देवी अध्यक्ष हैं, मारचा पंचायत की पुष्पा तोपनो सचिव की जिम्मेवारी संभालती हैं, तो सुंदरी पंचायत कोषाध्यक्ष श्यामा देवी हैं. डोरमा पंचायत की बहमानी भेंगरा, उकड़ीमंडी पंचायत की सुशीला आइंद, अम्मा पंचायत की एलेन तोपनो, हुसिर पंचायत की अनस्तस्या तोपनो, ओकड़ा पंचायत की एम्बलेम बारला, फाटका पंचायत की आशा भेंगड़ा, उरीकेल पंचायत की पूनम तोपनो और बरकुली पंचायत की मंजुला कुजूर बोर्ड मेंबर हैं.
