There is perhaps no greater mystery in Hollywood right now than what on earth WB is going to do with The Flash, Ezra Miller's solo film.
Batgirl, for instance, was just canceled, and that film was supposed to connect with Flash’s Batman, played by Michael Keaton in a cameo, and Flash co-star Supergirl, who was also supposed to get a solo film that may now be up in the air. Things are wildly different, both in terms of the state of the DC universe and The Flash’s role in it, and the frankly absurd situation where its star is now on a literal crime spree. A few years ago, The Flash seemed like a perfectly reasonable idea, and the biggest issues it faced was running through a few different directors.
Amid reports of Ezra Miller's burglary charges, reports state that the actor recently shot additional scenes for The Flash in summer.
Yet it has been reported that the actor did shoot a few extra scenes for the upcoming movie despite his controversies. According to a report in Hollywood Reporter, the actor has "participated in regularly scheduled additional photography over the summer." Ezra Miller has been surrounded by controversies since the past few months including the recent charges against him which were reported to be that of burglary in Vermont by the state police.

The ‘Justice League’ star was accused of stealing bottles of alcohol from a private property in May and is due to be arraigned on September 26.
Miller is scheduled to play The Flash in the Warner Bros. movie slated for a June 2023 release.
In a film that was only good because it was an improvement on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is not saying much, Miller’s performance as Barry Allen aka The Flash (along with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman) was one of the saving graces. This was the film that put Miller on the world map, earning him accolades and awards. It is unfortunate that Ezra Miller is making the news for controversies and legal issues instead of what they actually should be recognised for – a talented actor who has shown time and again what they are capable of on screen.

It’s possible that Warner releases The Flash, but tries to keep Miller largely out of the press circuit: . As Variety points out, that’s how the studio chose to handle the release of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, which also starred Miller. Miller’s long list of controversies in 2022 include arrests in Hawaii, one for second-degree assault, and a Rolling Stone report about their living situation in Vermont on an unlicensed marijuana farm accompanied by a mother and her young kids. In that light, some industry observers, including director Kevin Smith, have publicly questioned why the studio is still going ahead with The Flash, which is currently slated to be released on June 23, 2023.
DC fans' heads have been collectively spinning thanks to the latest updates to come out of Warner Bros. The public was shocked to learn that the Batgirl ...
The Flash is currently set to arrive in theaters on June 23rd, 2023. While not much of Andy Muschietti’s plans are known by the public, it certainly looks like an ambitious project that’ll open up the multiverse and even feature two different versions of Batman. But according to that same report by THR, the studio is evaluating all of its options in regards to possibly delaying the movie until the controversy surrounding Miller is resolved. That’s when it was revealed that Ezra Miller actually shot additional photography for The Flash during the summer, as various controversies surrounded them. That includes Andy Muschietti’s Flash, which stars controversial actor Ezra Miller. But did Miller work on The Flash in the midst of their recent drama and arrests? This tidbit of information comes at THR examined what it’s like within Warner Bros. and the DCEU after the Batgirl movie was scrapped. While Black Adam will hit theaters this fall, the DCEU’s 2023 movies have some controversial stars: Aquaman 2 will feature Amber Heard while The Flash obviously stars Ezra Miller. The Fantastic Beasts actor has been making waves for months now thanks to bizarre behavior, multiple arrests, and even allegations of abuse.
It's been revealed that Warner Bros. worked with Ezra Miller after his multiple arrests over the summer.
This is likely far from the last questionable update fans will get in regards to the future of Miller’s solo project. Pulling the actor in for work, under the radar, right after their antics in Hawaii, is not a good way of doing that. Maybe the company had no other choice but to bring Miller in so they could tie the final product together. The star is set to lead next year’s The Flash, but the fate of their movie has long been in question. One would think that, given all of those examples, Warner Bros. might be trying its hardest to work with Miller as little as possible in hopes of still being able to release the film one day. In fact, the studio had the actor in for more shooting after many of Miller’s allegations had already come to light.
Despite concerns around cancellation, it looks like The Flash is still moving forward with Ezra Miller filming this summer.
The Flash is set to release on June 23, 2023, and despite the controversies will almost assuredly be a blockbuster of the highest order. He is set for a court date in September and there is a possibility of jail time if found guilty. He was involved in a couple of different police-related matters in Hawaii, one involving him getting involved in a bar dust-up and the other with him allegedly threatening violence against a couple he had been staying with.
The Flash star Ezra Miller reportedly did reshoots for the upcoming DCEU movie after their ongoing legal controversies had already started.
However, many will likely be stunned at Warner Bros. Discovery bringing Miller back to do reshoots for The Flash, despite their troubling time in the press throughout 2022, with fans shocked enough that the movie is still on track to release in 2023. However, despite the headlines, they have seemingly still been participating in additional photography for The Flash film. The Flash star Ezra Miller reportedly did reshoots for their upcoming solo DCEU movie amid all their legal issues.

The young mother and three children who were allegedly living with Ezra Miller at the actor's Vermont farm are apparently nowhere to be found.
This is the latest in a string of legal issues for the actor, who was arrested twice in Hawaii earlier this year — once for disorderly conduct, to which they pleaded no contest, and another time for allegedly throwing a chair at a woman. A local source told the magazine that several officers were at the “Perks of Being a Wallflower” star’s home Tuesday night for nearly an hour, though the reason was not made clear. One source added that the 1-year-old once allegedly picked up a loose bullet and put it in her mouth.
The mother and her three children allegedly living at Ezra Miller's Vermont farm reported being missing as per Vermont State police.
It has also been revealed that it was during a visit to locate the family at the farm that Miller was charged with felony burglary for allegedly stealing bottles of alcohol. The police order was reportedly drafted for fear of the children’s safety, as Miller’s property allegedly consists of firearms, ammunition and marijuana as stated in previous reports. Vermont State Police are looking for a 25-year-old woman and her kids, aged 5, 4 and 1 as per Rolling Stone report.

Police noted that Miller had only been served a citation for the charge on Sunday. The actor’s arraignment is scheduled for September 26. “This contradicts information [the DCF caseworker] presented to the Court in her affidavit as Mother was posting on social media in late July 2022 that [the case worker] recognized as the inside of Miller’s residence.” Sources had raised alarm bells over the children’s safety, claiming there were unattended guns lying around the home and alleged they saw the one-year-old put a stray bullet in her mouth. But Miller claimed the family hasn’t lived there in months, which the Vermont State Attorney’s office said seemed like an attempt to “evade service” of the order, according to the court document obtained by Rolling Stone. (A spokesperson for the Vermont State Police Department referred a request for comment to the Vermont Department for Children and Families, who declined to comment citing confidentiality.) But it is not clear if officials were at Miller’s property over the emergency care order or another matter.
