The lack of detailing in a few characters stick out as a sore thumb. The portrayal of relevant details associated with post-mortem complements the screenplay and adds conviction to a few sequences. But a couple of more murders related to the case put the investigation team in trouble. The case becomes more complex as days keep passing and the team hits a roadblock. As a result, one isn’t able to develop an interest in the reel action. The flashback sequences aim to give the film a strong emotional core. The plot has pretty much everything — right from twists to a hint of romance — that one would expect from a commercial film belonging to the investigative thriller genre. The makers initially try to project Bhadra as Sherlock Holmes lite, a decision that pretty much backfires.
