Handset maker Xiaomi on Friday unveiled its new flagship foldable smartphone, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 at an event in Mainland China.

The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC built on TSMC's 4nm manufacturing process. In addition to the Leica-certified Summicron lens, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 offers access to two photographic styles which Xiaomi is calling "Leica Authentic Look" and "Leica Vibrant Look". With the Xiaomi ProFocus support, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 offers fast camera startup, quick captures, and continuous shooting support of up to 30 frames per second. The Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 comes in two colours: Black and Gold in three storage variants. Together, these integrated components reduced the number of parts to only 87, thus, enabling a lighter and thinner hinge design on the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2.
