But basing the design on the first Amazing Spider-Man suit keeps it more visually distinct from the Maguire and Holland costumes. Additionally, fans adore the outfit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2, so it just makes sense to bring back that suit wholesale. In concept art, Garfield’s Spider-Man has a costume more akin to the one he had in the first Amazing Spider-Man film, just with white lenses instead of gold. However, with three Spider-Man swinging across the screen, it's easy to lose track of who is who. And while their Spider-Man costumes are different, they’re not distinct enough to be easily told apart from a distance. It was already pretty incredible for the simple fact that audiences could finally see the three live-action cinematic interpretations of Spider-Man fighting and quipping together.
