Plus, see what else is coming to the MCU across the next few years with a look at [upcoming Marvel movies](https://www.gamesradar.com/upcoming-marvel-movies-shows/). The new post-credits scene in the More Fun Stuff extended cut shows Betty Brant hosting a segment of "Betty's Corner" on Midtown News. If not, you watch watch it on the [Sony YouTube channel](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LsJFHV-pxU) (opens in new tab). [you’ve already seen this](https://www.gamesradar.com/spider-man-no-way-home-more-fun-stuff-trailer/) as it was released to the public prior to release. This is an extended scene with the three Spideys on the Statue of Liberty before their final battle. Unfortunately for Triple-J, things go south the caller starts talking about a "dirt man" and a monster made of electricity. This is almost worth the price of admission alone. We’ll keep spoilers to a minimum, though, because there’s plenty of fun – the clue’s in the name – in experiencing these with fresh eyes for the first time. Wilson is seen goading Peter to climb up the walls to show off his skills to the students. One of the first deleted scenes in No Way Home’s re-release involves Spider-Man stopping a criminal, played by Tom Holland’s brother Harry Holland. The More Fun Stuff edition comes frontloaded with a new intro, with Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield welcoming everyone. They thank the fans for the "continued love and support" before Peter 1 and 2 (that's Holland and Maguire, in case you had forgotten) have an announcement for Peter 3: they love him too.

Box Office: 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Tops Friday With $1.75 Million (Forbes)

In a bitterly ironic end to a profoundly undernourished summer movie season, Tom Cruise's Top Gun: Maverick may fail to top the box office in its 15th ...

Regardless, it was never going to break out theatrically, hence (in this case) the Peacock arrangement, so its $430,000 Friday, setting the stage for a $1.27 million Fri-Sun and $1.53 million Fri-Mon weekend isn’t much of a surprise. The top movie for the weekend may be the one in its 15th weekend or a 38-week-old rerelease, Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s not unheard of for an earlier summer sensation like Top Gun 2 to return to the top of the box office late in the season. It should earn around $4.9 million for the weekend and $6 million for the holiday haul, bringing its lifetime domestic total up to $810 million. The Steven Spielberg-directed shark tale earned $870,000 on Friday for a likely $2.04 million Fri-Mon gross, bringing its unadjusted lifetime domestic total to $262 million ($1.2 billion adjusted for inflation). The ‘disappointing’ $9.4 million Fri-Sun opening of Chris Nolan’s Tenet, part of a long $20 million opening week in the summer of 2020, now again looks aspirational.

Daredevil Gets New Scene in 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' Re ... (Collider.com)

A new scene from Spider-Man: No Way Home: More Fun Stuff Version features Matt Murdock coming face to face with the Department of Damage Control.

Any of those three could appear in the series, though Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) will absolutely be included following his returns in Hawkeye and the forthcoming Echo show. The scene from the original cut saw Murdock meet with Parker, Happy, and May (Marisa Tomei) in the Parker home, discussing the legal ramifications of Parker's wrongful accusation. The scene now marks the second appearance of Murdock in the film.

Is Spider-Man: No Way Home's "More Fun Stuff" Version Worth It? (Screen Rant)

Spider-Man: No Way Home's "More Fun Stuff" edition adds new footage to the crowd-pleasing movie, but is it truly worth a second theatrical release?

In this regard, No Way Home’s More Fun Stuff version is a far better extended cut than [Spider-Man 2’s](https://screenrant.com/tag/spider-man-2/) “Spider-Man 2.1” edition, whose additional footage constantly disrupts the film’s pacing, is abruptly edited, and adds little more than distractions to an otherwise phenomenal film. [Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield](https://screenrant.com/amazing-spiderman-andrew-garfield-return-likely-maguire/) is roughly three additional minutes of the three web-slingers conversing before the act 3 battle begins. While the new post-credits scene and several new comedic moments are certainly welcome in No Way Home’s extended cut, viewers hoping for a plethora of additional scenes of the three Spider-Men and the Green Goblin will be underwhelmed. [Spider-Man: No Way Home](https://screenrant.com/tag/spider-man-homecoming-3/) is easily the most crowd-pleasing entry in [the MCU’s Phase 4](https://screenrant.com/every-mcu-phase-ranked-worst-best/) thus far, and it has now returned to theaters with the “More Fun Stuff” version, which adds new footage to the exciting superhero film. What “More Fun Stuff” ultimately means is an iteration of No Way Home with a slightly greater focus on Spider-Man’s now-public dual identity and a helpful moment of clarification regarding the finale’s final reality-warping spell. The return of the two previous web-slingers and the fantastic chemistry of the multiversal trio is easily one of No Way Home’s high points.

Spider-Man: No Way Home Re-Release May Swing to #1 Again ... (Screen Rant)

Spider-Man: No Way Home The More Fun Stuff Version is looking to hit #1 this weekend, making it the MCU film's seventh overall #1 weekend.

Now that the film is easily accessible on VOD and physical media, this release is more of a victory lap than a genuine attempt to claim that throne. (which is also streaming simultaneously on Peacock), Spider-Man: No Way Home The More Fun Stuff Version has a chance to hit #1 for the weekend, which would be its seventh after topping three weekends in 2021 and three more this January. While this is certainly a feather in the cap for Spider-Man: No Way Home, this #1 weekend likely won't help it break any more records. Its Labor Day weekend four-day total is currently projected to be $6.1 million, which is about on par with what it was making later in its run over Presidents' Day weekend this February. [Variety](https://variety.com/2022/film/box-office/box-office-spiderman-no-way-home-rerelease-labor-day-weekend-1235358815/), in a dismally slow Labor Day weekend with the only new release being the Sundance comedy Honk for Jesus. The film was the fourth theatrical entry in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third entry to be centered around Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

Here are the 10 scenes that have been added to make up 11 minutes of new footage.

But Spider-Man too has an exciting and uncertain future. She then signs off and says “Happy graduation! We made friendships that will last forever. Peter 3 agrees and says that you could be doing the weirdest thing but then, “It’s just Monday.” Well, the most significant part is an extension of the conversation Peter 2 (Tobey Maguire) and Peter 3 (Andrew Garfield) have on the Statue of Liberty waiting for the villains. Matt tells Happy to get off his phone and to stop sweating. They look at each other very confused, but that’s it. Set to the kitschy song “Monster Mash,” we see the friends, but mostly Ned, attempting to move and rearrange things, but everything keeps falling and it’s just a mess. Peter returns to school, talks to his teachers (JB Smoove, Martin Starr, Hannibal Burress), and continues down the hall. Peter and his friends are all brought in for interrogation by Damage Control but there’s more of Peter being interrogated by Cleary (Arian Moayed). Advertisement But that’s only part of it.
