आज दुनिया के कई देश हैं, जहां हिंदी को प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त है। फिजी में हिंदी को सरकारी भाषा का दर्जा दिया गया है। इसे फिजियन हिंदी कहते हैं। इसी तरह मारीशस की यह प्रमुख भाषा है। त्रिनिदाद-टोबैगो में भी हिंदी चलती है। नेपाल की सरकारी भाषा तो नेपाली है, पर वहां मैथिली, भोजपुरी और हिंदी भी बोली जाती है। त्रिनिदाद और टोबैगो में अंग्रेजी आधिकारिक भाषा है, लेकिन वहां पर स्पेनिश, फ्रेंच, हिंदी और भोजपुरी भी बोली जाती है। इसी तरह सिंगापुर में मलय और अंग्रेजी वहां की आधिकारिक भाषाएं हैं, लेकिन वहां तमिल और मंडारिन के साथ हिंदी भी बोली जाती है। दक्षिण अफ्रीका में अंग्रेजी और अफ्रीकी वहां की सरकारी भाषाएं हैं, लेकिन वहां भी अन्य कई क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं के साथ हिंदी भी बोली जाती है। इंटरनेट मीडिया के आने से हिंदी को नई पहचान मिली है। अब युवा भी हिंदी में अपनी बात रखने लगे हैं। नई शिक्षा नीति में हिंदी को मूल्यवान अधिमान मिलने में आने वाली अड़चनों को दूर करने के लिए केंद्र सरकार कुछ ठोस संकल्पों एवं अनूठे प्रयोगों द्वारा प्रतिबद्ध दिख रही है। यह एक अच्छी बात है। भाषा वही जीवित रहती है जिसमें संभावनाएं होती हैं और जिसका प्रयोग जनता व्यापक स्तर पर करती है। सौभाग्य से हिंदी में ऐसे सभी आवश्यक और अपेक्षित गुण मौजूद हैं। भाषा का विकास उसके साहित्य पर निर्भर करता है। आज के तकनीकी युग में विज्ञान और इंजीनियरिंग के क्षेत्र में भी हिंदी में काम को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है, ताकि देश की प्रगति में ग्रामीण जनसंख्या सहित सबकी भागीदारी सुनिश्चित हो सके। इसके लिए अनिवार्य है कि हिंदी और अन्य भारतीय भाषाओं में तकनीकी ज्ञान से संबंधित साहित्य का सरल अनुवाद किया जाए। इसके लिए राजभाषा विभाग और तकनीकी शब्दावली आयोग ने सरल हिंदी शब्दावली तैयार की है। राष्ट्रीय ज्ञान-विज्ञान मौलिक पुस्तक लेखन योजना द्वारा हिंदी में ज्ञान-विज्ञान की पुस्तकों के लेखन को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। शैक्षणिक हिंदी का वास्तविक अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रसार यूरोप, अमेरिका और एशिया के अनेक देशों में भी हो रहा है। पश्चिमी और पूर्वी यूरोप में मिलाकर कम से कम एक दर्जन देशों में तीन दर्जन विश्वविद्यालय और संस्थानों में हिंदी शिक्षण की व्यवस्था है। कनाडा और अमेरिका के अनेक विश्वविद्यालयों में हिंदी पढ़ाई जाती है। अंग्रेजी, फ्रेंच, जर्मन और रूसी में हिंदी की अनेक कृतियों के अनुवाद हुए हैं। भारत में हिंदी को लेकर भले ही लोगों के अलग-अलग विचार हों, लेकिन इस बात से इन्कार नहीं किया जा सकता कि भारत में सबसे अधिक हिंदी भाषा बोली जाती है। श्रीनिवासराव। Hindi Diwas 2022 हम जानते हैं कि संस्कृति किसी भी समाज और राष्ट्र की धरोहर तथा पहचान होती है। हमें गर्व है कि हम एक ऐसे भारत के नागरिक हैं, जिसमें बहुत सारी संस्कृतियां एक साथ हैं। हमारी एक सामासिक संस्कृति है। सभी संस्कृतियां एक सूत्र में बंध कर ‘भारतीय संस्कृति’ का निर्माण करती हैं। संस्कृति ही जन सामान्य में संस्कार और परंपराओं का संवहन करती है। हमें सभी भारतीय भाषाओं का सम्मान करते हुए यह भी प्रसन्नता के साथ स्वीकार करना चाहिए कि आज पूरे देश की सांस्कृतिक भाषा के रूप में हिंदी का प्रचलन है। एक भाषा के रूप में हिंदी न केवल भारत की पहचान है, बल्कि यह हमारे जीवन मूल्यों, संस्कृति और संस्कारों की संवाहक, संप्रेषक तथा परिचायक भी है।
