विश्व हिंदी दिवस हर साल 10 जनवरी को मनाया जाता है, जिसका उद्देश्य दुनिया भर में हिंदी भाषा के उपयोग को बढ़ावा देना है. 14 सितंबर 1949 को संविधान सभा ने देवनागरी लिपि में हिंदी को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में स्वीकार किया था. इस दिन को सेलिब्रेट करने के लिए स्कूल, कॉलेज और अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थानों में कई तरह के कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया जाता है.हालांकि क्या आप जानते हैं कि हिंदी दिवस कब 14 सितंबर को ही क्यों मनाया जाता है. इसी के परिणामस्वरूप उनके 50वें जन्मदिन पर यानी 14 सितम्बर 1949 को, हिन्दी को राजभाषा के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया था.
