प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय (PMO) के मुताबिक, पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि नए ट्रस्टियों और सलाहकारों की भागीदारी से इस फंड की कार्यप्रणाली को व्यापक दृष्टिकोण मिलेगा. प्रधानमंत्री नागरिक सहायता और आपात स्थिति राहत कोष (PM CARES Fund) का ट्रस्ट रजिस्ट्रेशन 27 मार्च, 2020 को नई दिल्ली में रजिस्ट्रेशन एक्ट1908 के तहत कराया गया था. रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, देश की कुछ अन्य बड़ी हस्तियों को PM Care Fund के सलाहकार समूह में नॉमिनेट किया गया है.
