Cricket West Indies (CWI) has named Shamarh Brooks as the replacement for Hetmyer in the West Indies Squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
Ahead of the T20 World Cup, Shimron Hetmyer has lost his place in the two-time winners West Indies squad for the marquee tournament in Australia.
Shimron Hetmyer was to initially leave Guyana on Saturday but was allowed by West Indies to delay flying until Monday for family reasons.
