ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने लोगों से अपील की है कि वह इन शोभा यात्राओं के रास्ते की जगह अन्य रास्तों का इस्तेमाल करें. सुबह 10 बजे वाल्मीकि समाज त्रिलोकपुरी विधानसभा द्वारा शोभा यात्रा निशांत चौक से निकाली जाएगी. पुलिस के अनुसार रविवार शाम 4 बजे भारतीय वाल्मीकि समाज द्वारा भगवान वाल्मीकि रथ शोभा यात्रा निकाली जाएगी. इस यात्रा में लगभग 3 हजार लोगों के शामिल होने की संभावना है. इसे लेकर दिल्ली ट्रैफिक पुलिस ने राजधानी वासियों को ये सुझाव दिया है कि वे बगैर किसी जरूरी काम के घर से बाहर ना निकलें क्योंकि शोभा यात्रा व जुलूस के चलते ट्रैफिक जाम की समस्या से दो-चार होना पड़ सकता है. दोनों ही पर्वों पर अलग-अलग इलाकों में श्रद्धालुओं द्वारा शोभा यात्रा व धार्मिक यात्रा/जुलूस निकाले जाएंगे.
