They have to scamper a bye and Sanjeewani misses the direct hit. It allows the batters to have a crack at that second run but Kavisha holds her nerves and fires in the throw at the keeper's end. Clears the infield though and will get a brace Full and Dar doesn't quite time the loft properly. A full toss to begin with, Dar can't quite put it away and slaps it straight to extra cover where the catch is put down. It was a good wicker and we controlled it well. She did and then came closer to the stumps to whip off the bails. That flurry meant that Dar and Maroof could nurdle it around, and the senior pro managed the chase very well until the 18th over when the Pakistan skipper had a rush of blood. It was a good experience for us, lots of positives and this is a good learning for us. They won a potential knockout game against Bangladesh by squeezing the defending champs, nearly did it to Pakistan in an inconsequential league game and then did it when it mattered the most against Maroof's girls in the semifinal. We don't have big names but have a very good squad. We changed the batting order to change a few things.

SL-W 63/2 after 10 overs: Nilakshi de Silva and Harshitha Madavi have forged a 29-run partnership and the good thing for Sri Lanka is the run rate hasnโ€™t dipped, rather gone beyond six runs per over. PAK-W 17/0 after 2 overs: Sidra Ameen and Muneeba Ali have given Pakistan a bright start with both openers attacking the Sri Lanka bowlers. Ameen was never comfortable in the middle, scoring 9 off 20 balls and she has consumed a lot of deliveries to give Sri Lanka an advantage. PAK-W vs SL-W Highlights: Kulasuriya keeps calm as SriLanka Women seal last ball thriller, beat Pakistan by 1 run to reach Final - Watch Women's Asia Cup ...

Little know Right Arm Offbreak bowler Sornnarin Tippoch bagged 3 wickets for just 24 runs to surprise the Indian team: None of the star Indian batters could score big as Thailand kept taking wickets at regular intervals. Once again Thailand proved to be a mismatch for the star studded Indian line-up and lost the Semifinal by 74 RUNS. In reply, Thailand could only manage 74/9 in 20 overs. India gave modest looking 149 runs challenge to the Thai team. Indian Women team has already made it to the FINALS. Pakistan Women finished number two in the points table. SriLanka however hit back by containing the runs in the middle overs. Bismah Maharoof held one end as Pakistan looked in command coring well over 7 runs an over in the powerplay. Anushka Sanjeewani and Harshitha Madavi did bulk of the scoring, taking SL past the 100-run mark. SL will now face India in the final, who defeated Thailand earlier in the day. Defending 122, Inoka Ranaweera starred as the Lankans kept Pakistan at bay to seal a last-ball thriller.

But Muneeba fell in the next over when she was run out trying to get a quick single. After being promoted to open, she struck a four and a big six over square leg but fell in the last over of the fielding restriction. Chamari Athapaththu also hit a six but was the first batter to get out when she tried to slog Dar over long-on and was bowled. Sri Lanka would also be thankful to their batters for their fine effort earlier, particularly at the start when they got a few boundaries to get things going. [Inoka Ranaweera](http://www.espncricinfo.com/player/inoka-ranaweera-434844) bowled a superb penultimate over - giving away just four and prising out big-hitting Ayesha Naseem cheaply - to leave eight for Kulasuriya to defend. But [Nida Dar](http://www.espncricinfo.com/player/nida-dar-333355) could not clear cover, where Kavisha Dilhari dropped the catch running backwards but recovered well to return a throw to the wicketkeeper, who ran Dar out to squeeze out a one-run victory.
