आज ट्विटर को खरीदने से एलन मस्क के पास दुनिया के करोड़ों लोगों का Data उपलब्ध हो गया है, जिनमें Celebrities से लेकर दुनिया के प्रभावशाली लोग भी हैं. यानी इस चिट्ठी में एलन मस्क ये लिख रहे हैं कि वो इस सोशल मीडिया Platform के ज़रिए ये सुनिश्चित करना चाहते हैं कि दुनिया में Twitter का इस्तेमाल करने वाले लोगों को इसके माध्यम से अभिव्यक्ति की आज़ादी मिलती रहे. इसमें उन्होंने लिखा है कि, उन्होंने ट्विटर को पैसा कमाने के लिए नहीं खरीदा है बल्कि उन्होंने ये डील मानवता के लिए की है. अभी अमेरिका में ट्विटर के सबसे ज्यादा साढ़े सात करोड़, जापान में 5 करोड़ 90 लाख, भारत में 2 करोड़ 36 लाख, ब्राज़ील में 1 करोड़ 90 लाख और इंडोनेशिया में ट्विटर के 1 करोड़ 80 लाख Users हैं. यानी आज अगर एलन मस्क चाहें तो वो किसी भी देश की सरकार और वहां के समाज पर अपनी नीतियों के हिसाब से असर डाल सकते हैं. और एलन मस्क ने भी ना ना करते हुए आज ट्विटर को खरीद ही लिया. और आखिर Twitter में ऐसा क्या है कि एलन मस्क को ये घाटा नज़र नहीं आ रहा? और 23 अक्टूबर तक ट्विटर में पांच बड़े शेयरहोल्डर्स थे और इनमें भी कम्पनी में 9.2 प्रतिशत की हिस्सेदारी अकेले एलन मस्क के पास थी. और ये जानने के बाद आपके मन में भी ये सवाल ज़रूर होगा कि जो कंपनी शुरुआत से ही घाटे में है, उसे Elon Musk ने 3 लाख 62 हज़ार करोड़ रुपये में कैसे खरीदा? बड़ी बात ये है कि, अदालत ने एलन मस्क को 28 अक्टूबर यानी आज की डेडलाइन दी थी और ये कहा था कि अगर वो इस तारीख तक ट्विटर को खरीदने की प्रक्रिया पूरी नहीं करते तो उन्हें अदालत में कानूनी मुकदमे का सामना करना होगा. एलन मस्क चाहते थे कि ट्विटर में जितने भी शेयरहोल्डर्स हैं, वो अपनी तमाम हिस्सेदारी उन्हें बेच दें और वो ट्विटर के इकलौते मालिक बन जाएं. दूसरा सवाल ये कि क्या एलन मस्क ट्विटर के जरिए इस दुनिया को बदल सकते हैं?
