Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.6 per cent to 6,933.70. South Korea’s Kospi gained nearly 1.0 per cent to 2,371.79. Britain’s FTSE 100 rose nearly 0.1 per cent to 7,340.85. In the last hour of the session, they again rallied marginally and ended nearly 0.5 per cent higher. Speculation about a possible relaxation of China’s zero-COVID strategy has had a huge impact on markets. PSU banks took the lead in the rally as major sector players announced solid results. Both the indices had opened on a positive note gaining over 0.5 per cent in early deals however they gave up their gains and turned negative later. Reddy’s Laboratories were the top losers. Losses in pharmaceutical companies were offset by buying in PSU banks, auto, and metal equities. Amongst mid-caps and small-caps, the S&P BSE MidCap rose 176.67 points (0.69 per cent) to end at 25,823.74 while the S&P BSE SmallCap gained 185.32 points (0.64 per cent) to close at 29,292.56. In contrast, Asian Paints, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Titan Company, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Dr. The S&P BSE Sensex rose 234.79 points (0.39 per cent) to end at 61,185.15 while the Nifty 50 gained 85.65 points (0.47 per cent) to settle at 18,202.80.

Share Market Holiday: सेंसेक्स सोमवार को 234.79 अंकों की बढ़त के साथ 61,185.15 अंकों पर बंद हुआ। इसमें 0.39 प्रतिशत की बढ़त दिखी। वहीं, निफ्टी 85.65 अंकों की बढ़त के साथ 18202.80 अंकों पर बंद हुआ। निफ्टी में 0.47 अंकों की बढ़त दिखी। सोमवार को डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपया 43 पैसे की मजबूती के साथ 81.92 अंकों पर बंद हुआ। इससे पिछले कारोबारी सेशन में रुपया 82.44 अंकों पर बंद हुआ। बाजार में विदेशी पूंजी की वापसी और डॉलर में तुलनात्मक रूप से गिरावट से रुपये को सहारा मिला है। एनएसडीएल के आंकड़ाें के अनुसार विदेशी पोर्टफोलियो निवेशकों ने नवंबर महीने में 16,878 करोड़ रूपये की इक्विटी की खरीदारी की है। इससे पहले अक्तूबर और सितंबर महीने में फॉरेन पोर्टफोलियो निवेशक बाजार में डॉलर की मजबूती, रुपये की कमजोरी और मॉनिटरी पॉलिसी में सख्ती के कारण नेट सेलर रहे थे। भारतीय शेयर बाजार मंगलवार को गुरु नानक जयंती के मौके पर बंद रहेंगे। बाजार में सामान्य कारोबार बुधवार को शुरू होगा। इस वर्ष शेयर बाजार में 13 दिन बाजार बंद थे। बाजार की छुट्टियों से जुड़ी लिस्ट विभिन्न एक्सचेंजों की वेबसाइट्स पर उपलब्ध थी। इससे पहले सोमवार को भारतीय स्टॉक इंडेक्स सकारात्मक रुझान के साथ कारोबार करते दिखे। डॉलर के मुकाबले रुपया भी मजबूती के साथ कारोबार करता दिखा।
