Netflix's Ginny & Georgia just dropped for season 2 just dropped and fans are all saying the same thing about Georgia - that she stole the show.

In fact, it turned out that Georgia killed her husband after she saw him getting a little too up-close-and-personal with Ginny. Another jokingly said: "Georgia could kill the whole cast and I’d defend her. While at first it may have appeared that she wanted to start a new life with her children, it wasn't all plain sailing as the series went on.

Ginny & Georgia returned with a second season on Netflix on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

However, this is the thing Gunny & Georgia fails to focus on in the later part of the As the season progresses towards an ending, it is slowly layered with more shrouded webs of mysteries and lies, sometimes even difficult revelations. It also has some of the best character developments seen in recent TV shows. The writing is top-notch and displays a genuine understanding of the characters. In fact, the first half of the series is very dedicated to exploring the relationship and the layers it has. It gets especially interesting when that relationship has been strained with secrets and revelations, as depicted at the end of the first season.

Ginny also appears to mend her relationship with Marcus and the pair are seen having a heart-to-heart and canoodling. A flashback showed Ginny and Georgia exercising and when Georgia left the room, Kenny took the opportunity to grope Ginny under the guise of helping her adjust her position. However, it is also revealed in the season that Kenny is not Georgia's first husband that she has murdered. A private investigator looks into this possible murder and investigates Georgia after Kenny's coffin is exhumed and his grave is found empty. Kenny Drexel is a minor character in the first season, as Georgia's ex-husband. Ginny then takes her younger brother Austin, and the pair leave town on a motorbike.

The addition of therapy offers a direct line into Ginny’s thinking, the universal pains of growing up, and the specific struggles of how Georgia’s cons and crimes affect her, portrayed more effectively than those droll voice-overs the show has employed in both seasons. Take for example one of Georgia’s rants in a frustrated moment of parenting in season two: “Sneaking a boy through a window. The surface-level similarities were accounted for: the bright, bookish teen daughter, the magnetic 30-year-old single mom, the postcard-worthy New England town, and the penchant for alliterative titles.

Season 2 of "Ginny & Georgia" was much anticipated, and it turned out to be worth the wait. The way the story worked was that they established the place.

Ginny is upset that her mother’s feelings are hurt, and she is struggling to convey that her anger has nothing to do with her love for her mother. She is heartbroken for days, but after talking to Max, she comes to understand the reason a little better and chooses to be there for him the way he was there for her. Ginny joins her there and asks her the reason for killing Kenny, and she finally admits that it was all for her daughter. Ginny tells her to take a chance at her happiness and confess everything to Paul. The strength of “Ginny & Georgia” lies in the conversations between the characters. It would not be fair for us to try and put into words what was unraveling the relationship between the mother and daughter. She asks her about it and is in tears after knowing everything she has been going through. There is also anger at the fear because, at the end of the day, everything she has done has been for her daughter. At Fry-yay, things are awkward, and Ginny and Georgia have a fight when the former tells her that she wants to spend a few more days with her dad, but Georgia refuses. As for Georgia, she needs to take a breather in her car. Season 2 of “Ginny & Georgia” was much anticipated, and it turned out to be worth the wait. The conflicts between Ginny and Georgia stem from the same emotional core that every mother and daughter in the world share.

So now Ginny, Paul, and the rest of the crew have to figure out a way to clear her name (even though, ya know, she actually did kill him). Hopefully Ginny & Georgia season 2 continues to stay on top for the next few weeks, as that would increase its chances of getting renewed. And of course, Gabriel was there (since he was the one who called the cops about Georgia possibly killing him). Deciding to stand by her, he got a lawyer and a cop to help him leave town and protect his new wife. But after season 2's wild ending, it certainly seems like the writers have plans for another season if it gets the green-light from Netflix. Ex-husbands, secret love affairs, and even a Bridgerton-inspired musical were some of the wild plot points, but it's the show's shocking ending that will make you scream and wish you could click "next episode."

As the wedding is in motion, private investigator Gabriel Cordova (Alex Mallari Jr.) — who has been hot on Georgia’s trail since Ginny & Georgia started and has a new potential means of taking her down — finally confesses the truth of his identity to his boyfriend Nick (Dan Beirne). Ginny encourages her mother to tell Paul the truth about her past — well, most of the truth — so she can move past her fear, get married, and live the life she deserves and so desperately wants in Wellsbury after experiencing so much pain. She tells Paul her secrets, sans the murders, and gives him the opportunity to be with her or run screaming. When Max and Ginny leave, Georgia pulls out a suitcase and begins to pack her daughter’s belongings, clearly anticipating making this move in the very near future. With this, she gets some of the money she needs to survive, gets Gil thrown in jail, and escapes a life of domestic violence. When she walks in to check on Ginny, before Max shows up, Georgia makes a comment to Ginny about the beautiful Lake Powell where people live on houseboats. With some new insight on the situation, Ginny goes to Marcus and tries to explain what she has learned. Georgia tries to reassure Marcus that he did the right thing by not holding Ginny back, but also confesses how he was good to her and taught her what it’s like to be loved. Building to the season finale, Austin (Diesel La Torraca) witnesses Georgia suffocating Cynthia’s (Sabrina Grdevich) dying husband before shooting his father Gil (Aaron Ashmore) — in the middle of a violent altercation with Georgia — in the arm with one of his mother’s secret guns, leaving the family to clean up the mess before Paul (Scott Porter) returns home and the police become involved. As she wishes him good luck and implores him to be better to his parents, Marcus drunkenly confesses that he'll keep the secret Ginny told him about how Georgia killed her late husband.
