This “cherry picking” is detrimental to the precept of fairness, the court added.

नई दिल्ली: दिल्ली की साकेत कोर्ट ने 2019 में दर्ज जामिया हिंसा मामले में छात्र कार्यकर्ता शरजील इमाम और आसिफ इकबाल तंहा को शनिवार को बरी कर दिया. नागरिकता संशोधन कानून के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे लोगों और पुलिस के बीच झड़प के बाद हिंसा भड़क गई थी, इसके बाद प्रदर्शनकारी छात्रों पर पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज भी किया था. प्रदर्शन के बीच हिंसा भड़क गयी थी.
