Fall ending explained: What really happened to Hunter? (digitalspy.com)

Fall spoilers follow. Fall has arrived on Netflix after a cinema release in late 2023, and the high-concept thriller packs a punch with its shock finale.

It's down there," she replies, referring to the communications dish where she picked up the drone – and where Hunter's body now lies.

The 2022 film Fall gripped audiences with its intense plot of two women stranded on top of a radio tower, so is it based on a true story?

A lot of them had kind of radio masts and things at the top of these mountains.” During the Fall, the radio tower is referred to as the abandoned B67 tower with a height of 2,000 feet. He continued: “It became a mission to find the right location at height – and that was quite drawn out”. These radio towers sparked inspiration and after some creative shoots, Mann had achieved what he wanted. The KXTV/KOVR Tower is located in Walnut Grove, California, and was used as inspiration for the film. Unable to climb back down due to a now broken ladder, Becky and Hunter scramble to survive.
