Police have arrested two men in connection with the case. Police had received a call at 4.51pm from Maharaja Aggarsen Hospital regarding the admission of a man who was declared brought dead. A 34-year-old man who worked as a salesman at a CNG pump was beaten to death in West Delhi's Punjabi Bagh on Wednesday.

Indian state enforces anti-worker law (IndustriALL Global Union)

On 23 February, Karnataka state government passed anti-worker legislation extending the daily working hours from nine to twelve.

The Convention lays out that daily working hours cannot exceed eight. Subject to the condition that the total number of hours of overtime worked in three months cannot exceed 75. Under the exemption, it allows state governments to extend the daily working hours up to twelve and a worker can be asked to work continuously for six hours without any break.
