The hosts all out for 117 and Smith probably featured in the shot of the innings.

भारत-ऑस्ट्रेलिया टेस्ट सीरीज में ही कमेंट्री कर रहे एरोन फिंच हालांकि इसे कैच ऑफ द सेंचुरी नहीं मानते हैं. इसी बीच कमेंट्री कर रहे संजय मांजरेकर ने इस कैच को सदी की सर्वश्रेष्ठ कैच करार दिया. गेंद हार्दिक के बल्ले का भारी किनारा लेते हुए चौथे स्लिप से चौके के लिए जा रही थी लेकिन तीसरे स्लिप पर मौजूद स्मिथ ने ऐसा होने नहीं दिया. इस वक्त सबसे ज्यादा चर्चा स्लिप पर स्टीव स्मिथ के हैरतअंगेज कैच की हो रही है. दरअसल, मैच के दौरान भारत ने 48 रन पर ही अपने चार विकेट गंवा दिए थे. इस कैच को देखकर कप्तान रोहित शर्मा और पूर्व कप्तान विराट कोहली का चेहरा भी उतर गया.
