The editing is below-par. The potential is visible, but it didn’t translate effectively on to the screen. The story is very simple, and it is something that we have seen in multiple movies. A simple story is presented with a bit of entertainment and many unsatisfactory twists. It is really a tough job to act and direct a movie. He is effortless with his performance, and the ease with which he acted is lovely to watch. Sanjay Rudra (Vishwaksen), the lookalike of Krishna Das, who is the CEO of SR Pharma Pvt. He conceals the fact about his profession and makes Keerthi believe that he is affluent. While Sanjay Rudra is about to introduce his drug into the market, he dies in an accident. This Telugu New Year, Vishwaksen has come up with the film Das Ka Dhamki to entertain the audience.

Das Ka Dhamki Movie Review: Little Laughs And More Errors (Greatandhra.com)

Movie: Das Ka Dhamki Rating: 2.25/5. Banner: Vanmayee Creations Cast: Vishwak Sen, Nivetha Pethuraj, Akshara Goud, Rao Ramesh, Rohini Molleti, Shaurya Kare, ...

Vishwak Sen is more comfortable with comedy and romance, which dominate the first half of the film. The sentiment scene involving Vishwak Sen and Rohini is terrible. Vishwak Sen performs better as an actor than as a director. Unfortunately, the second half of the film, which is filled with twists and surprises, feels forced and does not flow organically. Although "Dhamki" and "Dhamaka" sound similar, the plot of the film appears to be almost identical at first glance. However, although he plays a dual role, the characterization of the other character is insufficient.

Ideally, their shades of grey can help to add a lot of intrigue to the story. That one will require a lot of thinking to do. Vishwak gets ample bandwidth to showcase his acting prowess and showcase a range of emotions as the twists and turns keep happening at regular intervals. The later hour of the film revels in peeling back different layers of the story to reveal one twist after another. Time and again the trio is reminded that they belong to the ‘footpath’. Das ka Dhamki, actor-director Vishwak Sen’s new Telugu film in which he plays a dual role and also shares the writing credits with Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, has a shape-shifting story that tries to tick many boxes.

'Das Ka Dhamki' hit the screens today (March 22). In this section, we are going to review the latest BO release. Story: Krishna Das (Vishwak Sen), ...

This film revels in its plot-heavy nature in the second half. Hyper Aadhi's repartees and humour are the real deal in some scenes in the first half. The dialogues preceding the fights and the build-up to the action segments could have been way better. Ajay's character is a crashing bore and drags down the film's impact. As a director, he needs to show more imagination in his next attempt. The fights in 'Das Ka Dhamki' cry for style and swag. 'Das Ka Dhamki' is not done with new plot offerings till the end. Answers to these and more questions are found as the film progresses. To the director's credit, the twists don't intimidate the viewer the way the twists in Ravi Teja's 'Khiladi' did. The film under review borrows its premise from a few familiar movies, mainly from a Chiranjeevi-starrer from the early 1990s. Why does the uncle want the waiter to morph into a pseudo-billionaire? The CEO in question is Sanjay Rudra (Vishwak Sen, again), who looks exactly like Krishna Das.

Das Ka Dhamki movie review: Formulaic entertainer (TrackTollywood)

Vishwak Sen's second directorial film Das Ka Dhamki is the Ugadi release of the year and has been released amidst solid positive buzz.

In the second half, Vishwaksen, unfortunately, loses hold of the storyline and the weakness of the plot is exposed. The writing is sluggish and too many forced twists result in a loss of interest. Sanjay is killed in an accident and Krishna Das lands in his place. The love track has a sense of predictability about it and the rich girl poor guy track is extremely predictable. The film features Vishwaksen in a dual role for the first time. The film is expected to

Das Ka Dhamki Movie Review: This dhamki isn't that potent (Times of India)

Das Ka Dhamki Movie Review: Critics Rating: 2.0 stars, click to give your rating/review,Vishwak Sen does a good job in a dual role, but it isn't enough to ...

It works only in parts and spends the ending setting up a conflict for a sequel. He’s a good performer, be it when he’s playing someone naïve or when he’s toeing the line or morality. He gets to play a dual role and makes it work, making you also wonder how he’d fare in more grey-shaded roles. In a bid to give us ‘twists’, the writers seem to take it a tad bit too far. The biggest drawback of the film must be its core point – a thread that runs on (you guessed it) pharmaceutical drugs. Review: With Das Ka Dhamki, penned by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, Vishwak Sen (who takes the director, screenplay and dialogues credit) attempts to make a film in the ‘eat the rich’ genre.

This is perhaps the most imaginative scene of the entire film. The twist in the story is that SR Pharma CEO Sanjay Rudra is a lookalike of Das. He is told that Sanjay died in a recent accident, leaving a Rs 10,000 crore deal of the company in jeopardy. The second half is full of twists, character flips to keep the audience engaged. Das Ki Dhamki is the story of an orphan Krishna Das (Vishwak Sen) who works as a waiter in a hotel. Das hates the submissive life of a poor man but is sure he won’t die like that.

Das Ka Dhamki Movie Review: A masala entertainer that chooses ... (Cinema Express)

Vishwak Sen puts the show in a showdown with his inconsistently written, extremely flamboyant sophomore directorial.

Das Ka Dhamki ended with the promise of a sequel. There is an ‘everything is a copy of a copy of a copy’ style of writing. While Vishwak is affable and convincing as Krishna, his rendition of the gleefully evil Sanjay, where he imitates Heath Ledger from The Dark Knight (2008), is overdramatic. And the film seems to aid in building a brand out of the filmmaker, Vishwak Sen. The former is a scientist heir to a pharma company committed to eradicating cancer with a miracle drug. Vishwak plays the roles of doppelgangers Sanjay Rudra and Krishna Das in Das Ka Dhamki.
