अतीक और उसके गुर्गों को उमेश पाल के अपहरण कांड में तो दोषी करार दिया गया लेकिन उमेश के हत्याकांड में इंसाफ का अभी इंतजार है। बता दें कि इस हत्याकांड का मुख्य आरोपी अतीक का तीसरे नंबर का बेटा असद और उसके चार अन्य साथी घटना के बाद से ही फरार है। पुलिस ने उन पर पांच-पांच लाख रुपए का इनाम घोषित कर रखा है। अतीक की पत्नी शाइस्ता पर भी उमेश पाल हत्याकांड की साजिश रचने का आरोप है। वह भी फरार चल रही है। उस पर भी 25 हजार रुपए का इनाम रखा गया है। पुलिस ने इस मामले में अब तक दो बदमाशों को एनकाउंटर में मार गिराया। उमेश पाल की मां और पत्नी अतीक, अशरफ और हत्याकांड में शामिल सभी अपराधियों के लिए फांसी की सजा की मांग कर रही हैं। उनका कहना है कि ये जिंदा बच गए तो अगला नंबर उनका हो सकता है। उमेश पाल के बच्चे अभी छोटे हैं। उमेश की हत्या के बाद परिवार में ऐसा कोई नहीं जो केस लड़ सके। उमेश के परिवार ने योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार पर भरोसा जताते हुए उम्मीद जताई है कि उन्हें पूरा इंसाफ जरूर मिलेगा। पुलिस का मामना है कि अतीक ने उमेश को किडनैप करने के बाद अपने दफ्तर के टार्चर रूम में बंधक बनाया था। वहीं उमेश की बेरहमी से पिटाई की गई थी और जबरन उससे हलफनामा लिया गया कि राजू पाल हत्याकांड में वह मौके पर नहीं था। हलफनामे के साथ अतीक के करीबियों ने उमेश पाल को ले जाकर कोर्ट में पेश किया जहां उसने गवाही दी थी कि हलफनामा वह अपने होशोहवास में लगा रहा है। उमेश ने अतीक के डर से गवाही दे दी थी कि वह राजू पाल हत्याकांड के वक्त मौके पर नहीं था। इसके बाद उमेश को अतीक के गुर्गों ने छोड़ दिया। Atiq Ahmad: उमेश पाल और उनके सुरक्षा कर्मियों की पिछले महीने 24 फरवरी को प्रयागराज में बदमाशों ने गोली और बम मारकर हत्या कर दी थी। उमेश पाल विधायक राजू पाल की हत्या के मामले में गवाह थे। उनसे गवाही बदलवाने के लिए अतीक ने 17 साल पहले 28 फरवरी 2006 को अतीक और उसके गुर्गों ने उमेश पाल का अपहरण कर लिया था। उन्हें अपने दफ्तर ले जाकर टार्चर किया और फिर जबरदस्ती हलफनामा दिलवाकर गवाही बदलवा दी। आज उमेश के साथ अतीक के गुनाहों का पहला इंसाफ हो गया है। एमपी-एमएलए सेशन कोर्ट ने अतीक समेत कुल 3 आरोपियों को इस मामले में दोषी करार दिया है। तीनों को उम्रकैद की सजा सुनाई गई है। तीनों पर एक-एक लाख रुपए का जुर्माना भी लगाया है। जुर्माना वसूलकर उमेश पाल के परिवारीजनों को दिया जाएगा।
