Despite the cold weather, devotees across the country gathered at Gurudwaras for special prayers and sermons, with the main congregation at Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi in Rainawari, Jammu and Kashmir. The Sikh community is actively participating in the celebrations, offering prayers and commemorating the 357th birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Shri Guru Gobind Singh. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal joined in the celebrations, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the people, emphasizing the importance of the occasion. The celebrations include acclamations of “Dhan Guru Gobind Singh, Wahguru Gobind Singh” in various religious programs organized by different Sikh groups. Guru Gobind Singh was established as the leader of the Sikhs at the age of nine, showcasing his exceptional leadership qualities from a young age. The All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) and various other Sikh organizations extend greetings and honor Guru Gobind Singh on his birthday, emphasizing the importance of his teachings and contributions to Sikhism. As the 358th Prakash Purab of Guru Gobind Singh Ji was celebrated, the Sikh community across the country united in prayer and celebration, marking the birth anniversary of the revered Guru. The celebrations culminated in a grand gathering at Gurudwara Chatti Padshahi Rainawari in Srinagar, reflecting the devotion and respect for Guru Gobind Singh Ji within the Sikh community.
