As the city dons its raincoat, cars are stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic, and at least one subway in Andheri has become a water park—minus the fun! The Mumbai Police have advised residents to venture out only if necessary, while assuring them that dialling 100 or 112 will get them prompt help if needed. So, keep those umbrellas ready and your rain boots handy, folks!

As rain pours down, it hasn’t deterred the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) from keeping schools and colleges open. In fact, they have declared that classes will function normally, amidst downpours that would make any monsoon party want to cancel! However, in contrast, Raigad has taken the precaution of shutting down schools, creating a clear divide between those who brave the weather and those who opt for a cozy day indoors. Talk about commitment!

If you're planning to catch a flight or hop on a local train, hold onto your hats! The rains have caused major disruptions, with 11 flights canceled and 10 routes diverted at Mumbai Airport. With waterlogged streets preventing most vehicles from passing, it’s as if Mumbai's trying to outdo the monsoon with her own kind of traffic challenge. What’s next?
